Midwest Designs Operating Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Closed on weekends and holidays.
- I do not respond to emails outside of business hours.
Processing Time:
My processing time will be posted on my website in the announcement bar, under "important information" on the home page, in "shipping policies", and in your order confirmation email. I DO NOT respond to **ANY** emails or messages regarding order updates. ESPECIALLY if the order is within my stated time frame. This is not to be rude or unprofessional, I am one person making the products -- cutting, painting, gluing, clear coating, marketing, packaging/shipping -- I DO IT ALL BY MYSELF AND IT ALL TAKES TIME. Unfortunately, I do not have the extra time to respond to messages asking for order updates. This is why my processing time is posted in numerous places. All processing times can change. I do send out updates on any time changes so please check your email regularly for any important updates. You can also check my website for any changes to my processing time. If you haven't been receiving my emails please check your junk/spam folder. Examples of delays: order overload (viral videos), sickness, kids' activities, and event prep. Please have respect for me, my family, my business, and my personal life. I am and always will be a Mother & wife before I am a small business owner.
Replacement, Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges Policy:
Most of my items are exclusively customized, personalized, and crafted based on individual orders, all items are made to order. Please pay close attention to my processing time when placing your order. My processing time is posted in numerous places on my website. Business days are Monday - Friday. No Weekends or Holidays. I regret to inform you that I DO NOT provide returns, refunds, or exchanges for any of my products for ANY reason. I ALSO DO NOT ACCEPT ORDER CANCELLATIONS FOR ANY REASON. However, should you encounter any concerns regarding your order, kindly reach out to me and I will exert the utmost effort to fix the matter as promptly as possible. If you receive your order damaged please send me an email to midwest.designs.rb@gmail.com WITH PHOTO PROOF OF THE DAMAGE. This is not because I don't believe your order was damaged, this is because I cannot file a claim with any carrier without photos. PLEASE NOTE : YOU HAVE 10 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOUR CARRIER POSTED DELIVERY TO PROVIDE ME WITH PHOTO PROOF OF BROKEN/DAMAGED PRODUCTS. AGAIN, I HAVE A SHORT WINDOW TO FILE A CLAIM WITH CARRIERS. IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE PHOTO PROOF OF DAMAGE WITHIN THIS 10 DAYS I CANNOT AND WILL NOT SEND NEW PRODUCTS OR ISSURE A REFUND!!!!!
Midwest Designs is not responsible for any damages to personal property such as but not limited to doors, screens, glass, decks, etc.
Midwest Designs is not obligated to replace any signs damaged by weather or customer neglect. While all door hangers are clear coated for weather protection that does not mean they are weather proof. Please use common sense and bring your signs in anytime there will be extreme weather. Examples of weather : Wind, Heat, Rain, Snow, Hail, Humidity or Moisture of any kind, etc. While my signs are made with quality in mind they are made of 1/4" plywood and are not going to last a lifetime. The better care you provide for your signs the longer they will last. Midwest Designs will not send replacement products for any of these damages for any reason.
Shipping/Delivery/Local Pick Up:
I do NOT offer complimentary shipping.
I do NOT provide any delivery services.
I do NOT offer pick up at events.
I do offer free local pick up to LOCAL customers.
During checkout, choose between paying for shipping or opting for free local pick-up. An email will notify you once your order is ready. PLEASE ARRANGE PICK UP WITHIN 24 HOURS OF NOTIFICATION. Free local pick up is only available to LOCAL customers. I do NOT deliver under any circumstances and I do NOT offer pick up at events. I know I have many family members and friends who like to place orders, however I CANNOT deliver for you. I have a whole family (4 kids + a dog + a husband + myself = all my responsibility) to juggle. We rarely ever go home 'just because' meaning when we do visit we are generally there for a reason, I do not have the time nor brain capacity to remember anything extra. This is the same exact reason I do not offer pick up at events, I'm usually extremely busy making inventory the week of an event that once again, I do not want to add anything else to my list. I also do not want completed orders sitting around taking up valuable work space. When an order is done I want it out the door! I understand nobody wants to pay shipping, I get it, I do. However, paying for shipping is the best option for me and ensures you receive your order promptly. Please respect this policy otherwise I will have to remove the local pick up option entirely.

Flexible Hours Consideration:
I kindly ask for your understanding that, as human beings, occasional circumstances may arise that could affect my regular working hours. Rest assured, any big changes to operating hours will be communicated promptly, and I will strive to minimize any impact on services. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as I strive to provide you with the best possible service and accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
Ordering Guidelines:
Orders must be placed through my website or via invoice payment. Direct messaging is not considered an official order. This policy helps me manage operations efficiently. Without an invoice, I may not be able to fulfill your request. Please know that if you have a question on an order you've placed, I cannot help you without an order number.
Midwest Designs is a professional business and complies with tax regulations. I require an invoice for all orders to ensure accurate record-keeping and financial documentation reliability.
Custom orders:
Due to time constraints, I regret to inform you that I am unable to provide mock-ups for your approval. To ensure your satisfaction, please provide all necessary details in the designated notes section at check out. Rest assured, if any questions or uncertainties arise regarding your order, I will communicate with you.
